Bobcats Head to South Alabama Saturday

SAN MARCOS, Texas - The Texas State football team looks to win its sixth game overall and fourth straight road game when the Bobcats travel to South Alabama for a Sun Belt Conference game on Saturday, Nov. 15, at Ladd-Peebles Stadium. The game will be televised on ESPN3 beginning at 6:30 p.m. (Central).

Texas State enters the game with a 5-4 overall record and 3-2 SBC mark after dropping a 28-25 decision against Georgia Southern. The Bobcats won their first Sun Belt road games with a 22-18 victory at UL Monroe and a 37-29 decision at New Mexico State. Texas State also won its final non-conference road game at Tulsa in triple overtime before splitting its first two conference home games against Idaho and UL Lafayette.

South Alabama enters the game having fallen 45-10 at Arkansas State last Saturday and 19-9 at UL Lafayette on Nov. 1. The Jaguars won their previous four games with wins over Idaho, at Appalachian State, Georgia State and Troy. USA is 2-2 in home games this season with losses against Mississippi State and Georgia Southern.
