Box Score SAN MARCOS, Texas –Texas State senior linebacker David Mayo has been named the Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week for a second time this season and the College Sports Madness National Defensive Player of the Week after recording a career-high 22 tackles and a quarterback sack to lead Texas State to a 22-18 comeback victory at UL Monroe.
