San Marcos, Texas – The Texas State men's basketball team will play its fourth game in six days Wednesday, when it hosts Cedarville University, at 7:00 p.m., in Strahan Coliseum. The game is part of the Cure UCD Classic, although it is being played stateside and not in Puerto Vallarta as the Bobcats' three games last week were.
Texas State took home the Charlie Spoonhour trophy from the Cure UCD Classic, after going 2-1 at the event in Puerto Vallarta. The Bobcats defeated Tulane and Northern Kentucky before falling in the championship game to Southeast Missouri on Sunday.
Kavin Gilder-Tilbury paced the Bobcats from beyond the arc at the event, going 7-of-14 during the three games, part of a 11-of-17 effort from three-point range against Northern Kentucky.
Cedarville University enters the game 1-6. The Yellow Jackets fell to Tulane as part of the tournament, 68-58 on Nov. 20.
Wednesday's game will be aired on 89.9 FM KTSW for those fans who cannot make it out to Strahan Coliseum.
