This Friday afternoon, Texas State travels to Troy to play against one of the top offensive teams in the Sun Belt Conference.

Troy enters Friday's game ranked as the top passing team in the conference and rank 12th nationally with an average of 324.5 yards per game. Senior quarterback Corey Robinson leads the Sun Belt Conference in passing with 280.5 yards per game and total offense with 271.0 yards per contest. Robinson has completed 268 of 399 passes for 3,086 yards and 19 touchdowns while throwing just nine interceptions. He is one of four players in NCAA history to throw for over 3,000 yards in four straight seasons.

The Trojans also rank as the No. 2 scoring offense in the Sun Belt this season. In addition to Robinson's 19 touchdown passes, Jordan Chun has run for 12 TD's, senior kicker Will Scott has tallied 76 points after  11 field goals and Eric Thomas has caught 11 touchdown passes.

DEFENSE
Chris Pickett, Camren Hudson, Mark Wilson and Tyler Roberts lead Troy's defense. Hudson leads the team with 69 tackles, while Pickett has 62 stops. Wilson also has 58 from his linebacker post. Tyler Roberts recorded 5.5 quarterback sacks and 8.0 tackles for loss.

SPECIAL TEAMS
In addition to serving as Troy's place kicker, Scott also is one of the top punters in the nation. He is averaging 44.88 yards per punt to rank second among Sun Belt Conference leaders. Earlier this season, Scott recorded the fifth-longest punt in NCAA history with a 77-yard boot at Ole Miss.
