Texas State Athletics Announces Football Single-Game Tickets Are On Sale Wednesday

San Marcos, Texas – The Texas State University Department of Athletics has announced that single-game tickets and promotions for all six of its 2012 home football games, including its Sept. 8 home-opener against Texas Tech, will go on sale to the general public beginning Wednesday, Aug. 15.
 
The general public can purchase tickets one of three ways - by visiting Texas State's online ticket center at www.txstatebobcats.com/tickets, at the main ticket office or by calling the Texas State Athletics Ticket Office at 512-245-2272. Fans are encouraged to take advantage of the improved online ticket center and new Print-at-Home option for individual game tickets. Questions regarding ticket prices and availability can be answered by e-mailing gametickets@txstate.edu.

  1. Visit www.txstatebobcats.com/tickets on your web browser
  2. Click “Buy Now” under the icon for the Texas State vs. Texas Tech game or the icon for Individual Game Tickets
  3. Click the green “Buy Now” button
  4. Select your seats from our “Best Available” menu to have the system automatically assign you the best seats or select a specific seat by clicking the interactive stadium map
  5. Select your delivery method (Print-at-Home & Will Call options available)
  6. Log in or create an account
  7. Enter your credit card information
  8. Confirm your order
  9. Print your confirmation email for your records
 
Individual Game Pricing 
Cost of individual game tickets will vary depending on both the game and the seating section. Prices are as follows:

The 2012 season is an historic year for Bobcat Athletics as Texas State plays its first FBS schedule and is in an FBS conference for the first time as a member of the Western Athletic Conference. Bobcat fans will also have the opportunity to enjoy some special promotions this year.
 
The home opener against  Texas Tech on Sept. 8 will feature a special Air Force Fly Over before the game as Texas State honors the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance. In addition, a pair of giveaways will include rally towels sponsored by Tanger Outlets, H.E.B. and River City Sportswear. In addition, Tanger Outlets also will sponsor a shopping spree giveaway for fans.

Texas State will celebrate Youth Football Day for its game against Stephen F. Austin on Sept. 22 before the school celebrates Family Weekend a week later at its game versus Nevada. In addition, Bobcat fans are asked to wear “Pink” shirts to the Nevada game to support “Breast Cancer Awareness”.

The Bobcats will have their annual Homecoming Game on Oct. 13 when Texas State plays its first Western Athletic Conference game against Idaho.

Texas State also will honor military veterans on Nov. 10 at its annual “Veteran's Day” game when the Bobcats play host to Louisiana Tech.

The Bobcats will honor Texas State “T” Association at the New Mexico State game on Dec. 1 as part of Texas State's “T” Association weekend.
