Mount Pleasant, Mich. The Texas State men's hoops team will conclude its three-game road trip on Thursday, Dec. 20 in Mount Pleasant, Mich. versus Central Michigan. Tip-off versus the Chippewas at McGuirk Arena is slated for 6 p.m. CT.

Thursday will be the first meeting between Texas State and Central Michigan.

Scouting Texas State

Texas State is coming off a 74-68 loss to Northwestern on the road. Thursday will be the Bobcats' final game of a three-game road trip. Senior Matt Staff leads the team in points with an average of 15.5 ppg. The Houston native also leads the nation in free throw percentage at a perfect 100%, going 33-of-33 so far this season. The Bobcats are averaging 73.2 points per game. Texas State is 0-2 in road games.

Scouting Central Michigan

Central Michigan is on a one-game win streak after defeating Pepperdine on the road, 80-77, on Dec. 16. Kyle Randall led the charge with 21 points in the win, while CMU led by as many as 13 points during the game. Randall leads the team with an average of 14.9 points per game. John Simons is the top rebounder for the Flying C with 4.7 rebounds per game. The Chippewas are 2-1 at home so far this season. Central Michigan averages 64.2 points per game, while its opponents average 67.8 ppg.
