Texas State knocked off Stephen F. Austin 66-61 at Strahan Coliseum. The Bobcats used a team effort to soar past the Lumberjacks and end a 10-game skid against Stephen F. Austin. The win gave Texas State its fifth home win of 2011 as the Bobcats remain undefeated at home in the year.
Senior Ryan White connected on 7 of 8 free throws to lead the Bobcats with 17 points and three assists. Junior John Bowman also hit seven free throws to finish with 13 points. Senior Tony Bishop added 11 points and four rebounds, while junior Eddie Rios chipped in 10 points. Tonight marked the seventh straight game Texas State has had four or more players score in double figures.
