Women's Basketball Looks To Start 4-0; Hosts Air Force Monday

The Texas State women's basketball team returns home for the first of a two-game homestand, Monday, when it takes on Air Force at 7:00 p.m., looking to start the season 4-0.

 

Friday, the Bobcats beat UT-Pan American to improve to 3-0, its best start since the 2005 season. Its three-game win streak is the longest since the end of the 2008 campaign.

 

Diamond Ford and Ashley Ezeh have been a force offensively for the Bobcats, combining to average 38.0 of Texas State's 71.3 points per game. Ford has scored at least 20 points in each game, entering Monday's contest with an average of 22.7 points per game.

 

Monday's game will be the third all-time between Texas State and Air Force. The Falcons won the meeting last year in Colorado Springs, 61-41.
