Megan Webb is in her third year as an Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at Texas State where is she the primary contact for softball, women's basketball and volleyball.

Webb worked on Texas State softball's campaign to its 12th NCAA Regional appearance, and 2nd Sun Belt Conference Tournament Championship. She also worked on Texas State Volleyball's first-ever at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament in the Fall of 2023 and the team's 2024 Sun Belt Conference Championship and subsequent NCAA tournament appearance.

Prior to arriving in San Marcos, she worked two years as a sports information assistant at Utah Tech where she covered women's tennis, women's track and field, men's and women's cross country, men's soccer, and assisted with men's and women's basketball. She was part of the Trailblazers transition from Division II to Division I as they left the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and joined the Western Athletic Conference. Additionally, she helped in the university's rebrand from Dixie State to Utah Tech University.

Webb worked for two years as a high school sports reporter for a St. George, Utah newspaper The Spectrum & Daily News, as well as was sports editor for Utah Tech's student newspaper for a year. Additionally, she wrote and was an editor for RSL Soapbox covering Real Salt Lake and Utah Royals FC soccer for five years. She also was a communications intern during the 2022 season for Real Salt Lake and the Real Monarchs.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from Utah Tech in Media Studies with an emphasis in multimedia journalism.
