Leslie Olalde is in her first season with the Texas State men's basketball as the program's on-campus recruiting coordinator/social media assistant.
During the 2024-25 season, she served as a social media and on-campus recruiting intern with the men's basketball team. In the role, she assisted with content creation, recruiting initiatives and coordination of official visits, supporting the program's outreach and communications efforts.
In 2023, Olalde joined Texas State Athletics as a student social media assist. She contributed to the growth and development of the department's digital presence across multiple social media platforms.
Olalde interned with the Texas State Athletics Department from 2021-23 to establish the university's official student section, worked alongside the athletics marketing and promotions team to enhance brand visibility adn increase student engagement at athletic events.
She graduated from Texas State in August 2025 with a bachelor of science degree in public relations, a minor in business management and a concentration in sports media.
