Brandi Martinez joined Texas State Athletics in November 2021 as Executive Administrative Assistant to the Director of Athletics. She also assists with the "T" Association, special event planning, and other campus initiatives.
Prior to joining the athletic department, worked on the campus side of Texas State University as an administrative assistant with the Retention Management and Planning department from 2015 to 2021. In this role, she handled all administrative duties for the department and support to the department director and associate director. She also supervised other administrative assistants and student workers, served as the department's hiring coordinator, and analyzed monthly budgets to help the department achieve its short- and long-term goals.
Martinez worked in the University of Texas athletic department for more than 14 years before coming to Texas State. She served in a variety of roles, including as the senior administrative associate to the Athletics Director (2002-07), assistant communications and marketing manager (2007-08), and event, sales and services manager (2008-14).
