Austin Wallace is in his first year as Texas State's director of pitching development and analytics.
Prior to joining the Bobcats, Wallace was a player development associate with the Boston Red Sox. He operated all baseball technologies to help drive data driven player development. Wallace was a graduate assistant coach and assistant pitching coach for UT Arlington in the Fall of 2024.

The summer of 2024 saw him work with the Hyannis Harbor Hawks of the Cape Cod Baseball League as the director of pitching development and assistant pitching coach.
Wallace played five years of collegiate baseball beginning with Texas for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. After spending the following two years at Wichita State, he completed his collegiate career at UTA in 2024. For his career, he made 19 appearances on the mound with four starts.
In the spring of 2025, he graduated with his Masters of Science in Business Administration from UT Arlington. Wallace completed his bachelor of arts degree in sport management in May 2023 at Wichita State.
