Biography
Senior (2019) – Played in 13 sets…totaled 18 digs and one ace…logged a season-high nine digs vs. UT Arlington on Nov. 15.
Junior (2018) – Saw the court in 28 sets over 17 matches… finished with 49 digs, eight assists and one service ace… recorded a season-best seven digs three times including at Baylor (Aug. 25), vs. James Madison (Aug. 31), and at Troy (Oct. 20)… recorded an ace vs. Marquette (Aug. 24).
Sophomore (2017) – Saw the court in 41 sets in 22 matches . . . tallied 38 digs, eight assists and four service aces . . . posted a season-high 10 digs against UTSA (Sept. 7) . . . also had a pair of assists against the Roadrunners (Sept. 16) . . . had an ace in four separate contests.
Freshman (2016) – Played in seven sets across six matches in her debut season . . . ended the campaign with 13 digs and one service ace . . . recorded six digs and her lone ace against Wichita State (Sept. 16) . . . also posted four digs against ULM (Nov. 11).
Midland High School – Played for Coach Amanda Lopez . . . was named the District 3-6A Outstanding Defensive Player in 2015 . . . honored as the top rookie in 2013 . . . all-tournament libero at the 2014 Margret Hussmann Tournament . . . recognized at the Nita Vannoy Tournament as the Outstanding Defensive Player . . . named first-team all-district . . . earned the 2014 Midland High School Outstanding Defensive Player Award . . . once tallied 54 digs in a match . . . played club volleyball for Amped Advanced West Texas.
Personal – Majoring in finance with a minor in sociology . . . daughter of Lance and Lori Wood . . . has two younger brothers: Carter and Jett . . . born Dec. 17, 1997.
