Junior (2020 - Spring 2021)
Competed in 140 sets where she led the team with 3.45 kills per set (483 total) and had a .305 hitting percentage…her 483 kills rank No. 1 in the Sun Belt this season, No. 2 in the NCAA this season, and No. 6 in the program’s single-season record book…also tallied 106 blocks (0.76/set), including 19 solo blocks, 118 digs (0.84/set), 10 assists and three aces…recorded a career-high 30 kills at Arkansas State (Nov. 7) which tied for the most kills in a five-set match in the NCAA this season…in the same match against Arkansas State, Fitzgerald had a season-high six blocks, a mark she tied five times…recorded a season-high .591 hitting percentage vs. South Alabama (Nov. 20, 2020), and had two aces at Houston (March 20, 2021)…turned in her first collegiate double-double with 15 kills and a career-high 10 digs in the four-set win at No. 9 Baylor (April 1, 2021)…led the nation with 548.5 points…became the 17th Bobcat to reach the 1,000-kill club and ended her junior season with 1,071 career kills…was selected Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week twice.
Sophomore (2019)
Saw the court in 97 sets…selected to All-Sun Belt second team to become a two-time All-Sun Belt selection…was second on the team with 2.84 kills per set (275 total) and .284 hitting percentage… totaled 62 blocks, including five solos…also registered 56 total digs…turned in 16 matches with 10 or more kills, including a five-match streak with 10 or more kills.
Freshman (2018)
Played 105 sets making 28 starts in 31 matches played… earned an All-Sun Belt Conference First Team selection and was awarded three weekly conference awards… made three all-tournament teams including the Sun Belt Conference Tournament Team, the 2018 Creeds & Crests Classic All-Tournament Team, and the 2018 Sparky Classic All-Tournament Team… ranked third on the team with 350.5 total points, (3.34/set), 313 kills (No. 9 in the Sun Belt) and 71 blocks (0.68/set)… recorded a .279 hitting percentage… logged a season-high 19 kills at UT Arlington (Nov. 9)… registered a season-bests 21 points and six blocks vs. Little Rock (Nov. 17)
High School
Was a four-year letterwinner for Mansfield Legacy High School, playing for Amanda Shingleton . . . was named to the All-District 10-5A First Team all four years of her career, which included a District Hitter of the Year designation in 2015 . . . recorded 1,350 kills and 1,255 digs during her time with the Broncos . . . was also an all-district academic first team selection from 2014-17 . . . competed during the spring for Texas Advantage Volleyball, and she helped her club team win the 14's Open Division National Championship in 2015 . . . the team also finished runner-up at the national championship in 2016 and placed third in the event in 2014.
