Michele Maxwell Bio
 
The 2020 campaign is the second for Michele Maxwell as the Texas State volleyball graduate assistant.
 
Maxwell serves as the director of operations for the team and also oversee court setup. in addition to that, Maxwell handles the Creeds & Crests Classic Tournament and other program functions such as the annual golf tournament and the Volleycat Report.
 
Maxwell has coached club with TopFlight Volleyball where as the head coach, she led her 14-and-up team to three different tournament championships and finished fifth in the select division of the Lone Star Classic, while her 16-and-up team finished third at the select division of the Lone Star Classic. She currently coaches with United Volleyball and has been with them for two years.
 
The Garland, Texas native played volleyball, basketball and ran track all throughout high school. She also played club volleyball for Texas Assault her freshman through junior year. Maxwell attended Texas State focusing only on academics. However, she did stay busy with extracurricular activities such as the Diamond Sweethearts and multiple intramural sports.
 
Maxwell graduated with a Bachelor of General Studies, minoring in Exercise Sports Science, Psychology, and Leadership Studies. She is now working on a Master of Science in Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning and Sports Coaching.
