Bridgewater comes to Texas State from Waco, Texas, where she attended Rapoport Academy Meyer High School. She joined the Bobcat Volleyball staff in spring of 2015.
Despite this being just her second year on campus at Texas State, Bridgewater is already classified as a junior as she pursues her degree in exercise and sports science with an all level certification in physical education. She plans to graduate in December of 2016 with immediate plans to volunteer coach volleyball and track at her former high school.
She has already had the opportunity to coach a bit in her young career. She coached a summer league for high school students in the summer of 2014 as well as her high school two-a-days. Bridgewater is currently looking into getting more involved in volleyball whether it be for a club team or with intramurals going forward.
