AS A SOPHOMORE (2016-17)
2017 SPRING
Singles: Held No. 5 spot for Texas State… started season strong with a pair of wins in regional matches against Incarnate Word and UTSA… later in the season posted a victory over Yasmine Ansari of Louisiana… had another win against Louisiana against India Shiaelis.

Doubles: Teamed with Julia Navajo-Melendez to fill the No. 3 spot… held a 7-8 record in dual play… had a 6-3 victory against Madison Porter and Sandra Keta of Colorado State.
 
2016 FALL
Singles: Played in the ITA Regional Tournament and won a dual match against Prairie View A&M in straight sets after recovering from a knee injury ... played two matches at the ITA Texas Regional Tournament.

Doubles: Teamed with Pippa Carr and had 2-2 record in doubles matches ... had their first win against SMU's Ellie Zongg and Sara Jamal in the consolation bracket ... also won 8-5 over Ansley Boarman and Elizabeth Ryan of Abilene Christian in the third round.

AS A FRESHMAN (2015-16)
2016 Spring
Singles: Won three of her four singles matches ... won her first dual match of the spring with a 7-6 (5), 7-5 victory over Sofia Blanno of No. 40-ranked Auburn ... also won in straight sets 6-0, 6-2 against Maria Batchinsky of Incarnate Word ... had a 1-1 record in No. 5 matches ... the victory was in straight sets against Alzbeta Veverkova of Northwestern State (7-5, 6-3) ... her loss came at Air Force when she was forced to retire because of a knee injury.
 
Doubles: Teamed with Pippa Carr in No. 3 doubles matches and posted a 2-3 record before being sidelined with a knee injury ... first victory came against Matea Zemunik and Antea Dedic of Incarnate Word (6-3) ... second win was against Northwestern State’s Alzbeta Veverkova and Ilijana Ivic (6-2).

2015 Fall
Singles: Won a pair of singles matches in straight sets at the Air Force Invitational ... won her first match by a score of 6-4, 6-4 over Lily Kreutzer of Northern Colorado ... ended the tournament with a 6-0, 6-3 win against Elisa Koonik of Wyoming at the Air Force Invitational.

Doubles: Also won a pair of doubles matches ... teamed with Bianca Birkenstock to win a 6-3 decision against Miranda Talbert and Sanne Hoekstra of Wyoming in the Air Force Invitational ...teamed with Pippa Carr for a 6-4 victory over against Reegan Greenwood and Natacha Minc of UT Rio Grand Valley at the ITA/USTA Texas Regional Tournament.

PRIOR TO TEXAS STATE
High School
Led the Anglo-Chinese Junior College to an 18-2 record and runner-up finish at the National "A" Division School Games in 2013 and 2014 ... earned the ACS Board's Sports Girl of the Year Award and the Edusave Award for good leadership and character after serving as team captain in 2014.

Born in Singapore ... daughter of Chia Swee Chuan and Loh Poh ... major is management at Texas State ... hobbies include reading, watching television and playing softball ... her brother Chia Jay Min played tennis and represented Singapore ... her other brother, Chia Jia Min Josiah, was the vice captain for Anglo Chinese College tennis team for two years.
