Singles: Recorded 4-1 singles record…won her first two singles matches in the fall campaign at the UTSA Fall Invitational ... also won a pair of matches at Texas State’s Play Day tournament.
Doubles: Paired with Jessica Kahts to win her only doubles match with an 8-3 victory against UT Pan American.

As a Junior (2011-2012)
2012 Spring
Singles: Recorded an 11-7 overall singles record…finished the Southland Conference with a 7-4 record…won both matches against Sam Houston State ... defeated New Mexico State and Southeastern Louisiana
Doubles: Paired with Bérénice Van den Bergh to compile an 8-4 overall dual match record…the pair ended the Southland Conference with a 5-3 record…defeated Nicholls, Southeastern Louisiana, and Sam Houston State

2011 Fall
Singles: Totaled a 7-4 overall singles record…
Doubles: Paired with Bérénice Van den Bergh to total a 4-3 overall dual match record… defeated Gonzaga and Southeastern Louisiana


As A Sophomore (2010-11)
Spring 2011
Singles: Totaled a 11-9 overall singles record as Texas State’s No. 3 player … posted an 11-9 dual match record during the spring … accumulated a 4-3 record in non-conference play … defeated Monica Rodriguez of Cal State Fullerton … opened SLC play with a win against Kazumi Otani of Central Arkansas … completed SLC season with four consecutive victories … finished the regular season with a 6-5 Southland Conference record.
Doubles: Posted an 11-8 dual match record … paired with Bérénice Van den Bergh as Texas State’s No. 2 doubles tandem for nine victories … posted a 2-1 record with Jessica Laing.

Fall 2010
Singles: Compiled a 5-9 record in tournament play as Texas State’s No. 3 player.
Doubles: Paired with Melissa Hadad at the SFA Fall Invitational to win matches against McNeese State and Louisiana-Monroe… also posted a victory while teaming with Bérénice Van den Bergh at the Cougar Fall Draw.

As A Freshman (2009-10)
Spring 2010
Singles: Won seven matches as a first year player ... posted a 7-9 mark as Texas State’s number No. 3 player ... also competed in the second, fourth, and fifth flight … grabbed one win in the fourth flight.
Doubles: Earned All-Southland Conference Second-Team honors with Mariana Perez as the No. 2 tandem ... compiled an 11-7 dual match record ... teamed with Perez to post a 9-6 record as Texas State’s No. 2 tandem ... also had a 1-0 record in a Flight 1 match with Andrea Giraldo and a 1-0 record in a Flight 3 match with Mariana Charalambous.

Fall 2009
Singles: Posted a 3-4 record in singles ... won her first two collegiate matches at the SFA Invitational with a 6-2 win over SFA’s Meaghan Ocanas and a 2-6, 6-0, (10-3) victory over P. Gudelj of McNeese State.
Doubles: Had a 4-3 record in doubles play ... teamed with Mariana Perez for a 3-0 doubles record ... also was 2-2 while playing with Kiki Kruse.

High School
Attended Luis Horacio Gomez College in Cali ... ranked as the number one under-18 singles player and a member of the Top 18’s Doubles team in Colombia ... also played basketball and volleyball.

Major at Texas State is anthropology ... born March 18, 1991 ... daughter of Claudia Pelaez and Jorge Rojas of Cali ... member of the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll ... earned Texas State’s Oak Farms Dairy Academic Award in the fall of 2009 and was a member of the Dean’s List during the spring semester in 2010 ... at the age of 14, she was ranked among the Top 453 All-Categories players in Spain ... likes to play soccer and basketball.
