Prior to Texas State
Attended the University of Central Arkansas as a freshman and was coached by Natasha Vincent... Named to the Southland Conference second team and was awarded SLC Freshman of the Year... Finished sixth in the SLC in scoring average at 75.0 strokes per round... Carded a 10th-place finish at the 2018 Southland Conference Championship... Helped to guide Central Arkansas to a team-victory at the Texas State Invitational on Feb. 13 after shooting a 1-under 212 and garnering runner-up honors.
Prior to Central Arkansas, Wong placed second at the 2017 Kuala Lampur Amateur Open, shooting a 1-under 215, and the 2017 Singapore Junior Championship with a 3-over 219. She claimed third place at the 2017 Annika Invitational and posted a seventh-place effort at the 2017 Philippines Ladies Amateur Open. In high school, Wong received school colors three times for outstanding performance in both sport and study. She will enter the 2018-19 season with the Bobcats with three years of eligibility remaining and will study finance.
