Played in a career-high 27 games, and made 17 starts … led the team in steals with 32 … had a Bobcat season-high in steals with seven against UTSA on Feb. 26 … recorded the first double-double of her career on Feb. 2 against Stephen F. Austin, scoring a career-high 17 points while pulling down a career-high 12 rebounds … had one of the most entertaining plays of the year against Nicholls, running behind the scorers’ table to catch up to a fastbreak on the other end and intercept a pass .. went 5-of-10 against Central Arkansas on Feb. 9 along with nine rebounds … was second on the team in rebounds per game with 4.5 … had six or more rebounds in eight games …  was an efficient 5-of-7 from the field against UT-Tyler on Nov. 15, for a total of 13 points … established a new career-high for minutes played, with 25 against Stephen F. Austin on Feb. 2 … saw her playing time increase during conference, seeing 20 minutes or more in seven games .. she also started 13 of 16 games during SLC play.

2008-09:
Kalu played in 28 games and made eight starts ... averaged 2.4 points and 2.2 rebounds in 11.4 minutes ... went 3-for-4 from the free throw line at Drake (Nov. 14) for first-career points ... recorded a perfect game at UTEP (Nov. 28), going 2-for-2 from the field and sinking one three-pointer for five points against the Lady Bulldogs ... had a career-high seven points at Nicholls (Feb. 21) ... shot .517 from free throw line ... .317 from the field ... season-best six rebounds, four assists and five steals ... averaged 1.1 steals per game, with 31 total.
