Stephanie Stoglin-Reed

Stephanie Stoglin-Reed is in her first season at Texas State as an assistant coach. Stoglin-Reed joins the Bobcats after spending a season as the director of player development for the University of North Texas men’s basketball program. In addition to her role in player development, Stoglin-Reed will assist with player recruitment.

While at North Texas, Stoglin-Reed handled all recruiting correspondence as well as offensive and defensive efficiency tracking, individual film breakout sessions, and served as liaison for student-athlete academics.
 
Prior to her stint at UNT, Stoglin-Reed was the boys’ varsity coach at KIPP Tulsa College Preparatory Academy from 2011-2013. During that time, she led KIPP to the regular season city championship and playoff runner-up.
 
As a player, Stoglin-Reed played at the University of Kentucky and finished at Houston Baptist University. In her lone season at HBU, she served as a team captain, earned First-Team All-Conference, Red River Conference Player of the Year, TABC Player of the Year, and WBCA All-American honors. She also was the runner-up for the NAIA National Player of the Year.
 
Stoglin-Reed is the daughter of Andy Stoglin, a long-time former men’s collegiate and professional coach. She is married to Chris Reed, and they have two children, Samuel Christopher and Shiloh Joelle.
