Swinhoe, who is currently in her second year in the Health and Rehabilitation Sciences Master's program, will be responsible for the Bobcat Bulletin, game play stats, highlight videos, player binders, team manager supervision, weight training supervision, assistance during practice and games, social media monitoring and assistance with recruiting.Â
A Porter, Texas native, Swinhoe graduated Magna Cum Laude in Exercise and Sport Science with a focus in Health and Fitness Management from Texas State University in 2018 after a four-year playing career on the school's ultimate frisbee team, where she was tabbed as the squad's team captain. Â
Over the last six years, Swinhoe has coached the Texas State women's ultimate frisbee team, various youth basketball teams and helped train athletes at the PLEX Athletic Performance Training center. While working at PLEX, Swinhoe helped coach professional boxers, Houston Dash soccer players and high-profile athletes mostly through resistance and endurance training. Â
While attending Porter High School, Swinhoe doubled down as a member of the school's basketball and softball teams. She also earned academic all-district honors en route to graduating high school Summa Cum Laude.
