2019 Outdoor: 15 top 10 finishes... Placed 17th at NCAA West Preliminary meet in the shot put at 18.74m... Won the shot put with season-best distance of 19.70m (64-7.75), placed third in discus and eighth in the hammer with a season-best throw of 53.46m (175-5) at the Sun Belt Conference Championships... Claimed shot put title at 18.91m, was third in the discus with 49.91, and fourth in the hammer with 50.87m at the Bobcat Classic... Finished first in the shot put at 19.24m and was third in the discus with 50.54m at LSU Alumni Gold... Won the shot put at 18.85m and finished third in the discus at the Texas A&M Invitational...placed seventh int the shot put at 18.50m at the Texas Relays... 2018 Outdoor: 13 top 10 finishes... Earned All-American Honorable Mention honors with 18th place finish at NCAA Outdoor Championships in the shot put... 2016 Outdoor: Five top ten finishes… Finished ninth in the shot put at the SBC Outdoor Championships… Finished sixth in the shot put at the Texas State Bobcat Classic and the Texas State Bobcat Invitational… Threw a career best 44.41m in the hammer and 46.64m in the discus at the Texas State Bobcat Classic.
2016 Indoor: Finished sixth in the shot put at the SBC Indoor Championships… Finished fifth in the shot put at the Houston Invitational & Multi’s… Threw a career best 15.00m in the weight throw at the SBC Indoor Championships.
Killeen High School: Competed for Coach Greg Russell ... Qualified for Area and Regionals in discus in 2014 ... Was the District 8-5A runner-up in discus in 2014 ... An Area and Regional qualifier in shot put in 2015 ... District 12-6A and Area champion in shot put in 2015 ... Earned AAU Junior Olympics All-American honors in shot put in 2015 ... Named team's Most Valuable Field Athlete in both 2014 and 2015 ... Career bests are 161-feet-4-inches in discus and 58-feet-11.75-inches in shot put ... Was also a three-year varsity starter for Killeen High's football team where he was selected to the All-District Second Team and Killeen Daily Herald All-Area First Team ...
