2020 INDOOR
Had a top 10 finish in the shot put at the Navy Invitational… posted a season-best throw of 13.30 meters (43’ 7.75”) at the Red Raider Invitational.
2019 OUTDOOR
Had two top 10 finishes… took ninth place in shot put and discus at the Bobcat Classic… bested her previous season high in the shot put (10.95m) in the 2019 season.
2019 INDOOR
Had a season high in weight throw at 13.02m (42’ 8.75”), finishing 14
th at the Ted Nelson Invitational.
2018 OUTDOOR
One top 10 finish... Took 10th in the discus with season best toss of 40.01m (131-3) and recorded season best mark of 10.95m (35-11.25) in the shot put at Bobcat Classic.
2018 INDOOR
Was a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Keller High School in Keller, Texas... Coached by Wes Cope... Three-time regional qualifier in the shot put and discus in 2017, 2016 and 2014... Qualified for UIL 6A state meet in 2015 and finished sixth... Personal bests are 39-10 in the shot put and 139-11 in the discus... Also lettered four years in basketball... Twice named to first team all-district team and once to second team all-district.
PERSONAL
Born Dec. 5...daughter of Laura Johnson...has two older siblings, Ashleigh Sherel and Merrick Sherel...hobbies include singing and cooking...major is exercise and sports science.
