2012 Indoor: Named a First-Team All-American after tying for eighth in the pole vault at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a height of 5.40 meters (17-08.50) … set a school indoor record with 5.51 meters (18-01) at the Tyson Invitational to take first … his mark was the third-best in the NCAA for the season … named Southland Conference Men’s Athlete of the Week on February 15 following his record-breaking performance … finished runner-up at the SLC Championships with 5.35 meters (17-06.50). 

2011: Named First-Team All-American after tying for fourth in the pole vault at the NCAA Championships with a height of 5.25 meters (17-02.75), a personal record … had a mark of 5.15 meters (16-10.75) at the West Preliminary Rounds to finish 12th … won three meets during the outdoor season … his lowest finish was a tie for fourth before the West Preliminary Rounds … tied for second at the Southland Conference Outdoor Championships with a height of 5.05 meters (16-06.75) … placed eighth at the conference indoor meet … his indoor season-best mark was 4.70 meters (15-05.00) which came at the University of Houston Invite and the SLC Indoors.

2010: Posted the team’s best performance in the pole vault for the season, clearing 16-6 3/4 outdoors at the Trinity Invite … finished in fifth place at the SLC Outdoor Championships with a vault of 15-7 3/4 … had the team’s third best performance in the pole vault during the indoor season after clearing 15-7 at the Texas Tech Invite.

Smithson Valley HS: Letterwinner at Smithson Valley High School ... chosen as the San Antonio Express News Field Athlete of the Year in 2008 ... set a personal record of 16-8 in the pole vault at the Judson Invitational ... participated in both the Summer Track AAU Nationals and Summer Track USA Nationals.
