2016 Outdoor: Ran a career best 4:13.15 in the 1500m at the TCU Invitational… One top 20 finish… Ran a career best 9:41.01 in the 3000m at the TCU Invitational.
2016 Indoor: Ran a career best 2:07.86 in the 800m at the Houston Invitational.
High School: Lettered four years at Valley View High School... All-Texas honoree in 2014 and 2015... Earned All-Texas honors in cross country in 2012, 2013, and 2014.
Personal: Son of Jim and Diana Barnes... Majoring in construction science & management... Favortie hobby is motocross.
