2023 Outdoor
Sun Belt Champion in the 400, 4x100 and 4x400 … 2023 All-Sun Belt First Team … Sun Belt Men’s Outdoor Co-High Point Scorer … Sun Belt Men’s Track Athlete of the Week on April 5 … competed in the NCAA West Preliminary Round in the 400 … ran a career-best 400 at the UF Tom Jones Memorial with a time of 45.72 … at the Sun Belt Outdoor Track and Field Championships, finished first in the 400 (45.79), 4x100-meter relay (39.74), 4x400-meter relay (3:07.08) and placed second in the 200 (20.74) ... placed second at the Texas Invitational in the 400m (46.39) ... at the Bobcat Invitational, placed first in the 200-meter dash with a time of 20.38… finished first in the 100-meter dash with a PR of 10.45 and placed first in the 4x100-meter relay with a season-best time of 39.46 at the Charles Austin Classic … recorded a first-place finish in the 200-meter dash at the UTSA Invitational.
2021-22 SEASON (JUNIOR)
In his first season at Texas State, Yancy has won four Sun Belt individual championships across the indoor and outdoor seasons and earned All-America Honorable Mention honors … Placed 22nd at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 4x100 men's relay ... NCAA Outdoor West Preliminary qualifier in the 400, 4x100 and 4x400 … Won the 400 and was the anchor leg of the first-place 4x400 men’s relay team at the conference outdoor championships in May in Lafayette, La. … Won the 400 (46.89) and was the anchor leg once again for the first-place 4x400 men’s relay team (3:11.29) at the indoor conference championships in February … Broke the indoor conference meet record in the 400 … Also finished second in the 200 (21.34) at the indoor conference meet and was second with the 4x100 men’s relay team at the outdoor conference meet … Finished the indoor and outdoor seasons with a combined 18 podium finishes.

Two-time Sun Belt outdoor champion, winning in the 400 and 4x400 men’s relay … Sun Belt Men's Newcomer of the Year ... All-Sun Belt First Team ... Also finished second with the 4x100 men’s relay at the conference outdoor meet … Primarily ran in the 400, 4x100 relay and 4x400 relay, but also competed in the 100 and 200 … Had 13 podium finishes during the outdoor regular season … Won 7 races, including 3 as part of a relay team … Two of his four solo wins were in the 400, including the outdoor conference meet and the Battle on the Bayou on April 2 when he ran a season-best 45.87 … With the sub-46 second time, he became the first Bobcat in 34 years to crack that mark … It was the second-fastest 400 time in school history … Also won in the 100 and 200 at the Bobcat Invitational in San Marcos in late March … Posted three of the program’s top-10 times in the 400 … Helped the men’s 4x100 relay post three school top-10 times and the seventh fastest time in the 4x400 men’s relay.
2022 Indoor
Sun Belt Men’s Indoor All-Conference First Team … Won the Sun Belt Indoor Championship in the 400 meter, running a school record 46.89 in the finals … Also helped the 4x400 team win the conference championship, running 3:11.29 … Finished second at the conference championship in the 200 meter (21.34; third fastest in school history) … Ran 21.15 in the 200 meter prelims, which set the school record … Competed in the 200 meter, 400 meter, and 4x400 across five different meets … Won the 400 meter at the Nebraska Adidas Classic in January with a time of 47.46 … Also competed at the USATF Indoor Championships, finishing 8th in the 400 meter (46.96 in the finals) … Finished the indoor season with three school top-five times in the 200 meter … Also had three school top-seven times in the 400 meter.

2020-21 SEASON (SOPHOMORE; UT ARLINGTON)
2021 Indoor
Finished sixth out of 20 runners in the 400 meters with a time of 48.56 at the Ted Nelson Invitational … was also a member of the 4x400 relay team which finished fifth at that meet in College Station.
2021 Outdoor
Competed with the 4x100 relay team at four regular-season events, setting the UTA season-best mark of 40.82 at the North Texas Classic … placed third at the UT Arlington Invitational as a member of the 4x400 relay team … ran the 400 meters at two regular-season meets, missing the podium by less than two-tenths of a second at UNT.
2019-20 SEASON (FRESHMAN; UT ARLINGTON)
2020 Indoor
Claimed the bronze medal in the 400 meters at the Sun Belt Conference Championships ... also placed fourth in the 200 meters at the league meet ... set season bests in both events with a 21.37 in the 200m and a 47.58 in the 400m ... competed in five events on the year.
2020 Outdoor
Season canceled due to coronavirus pandemic.
BEFORE UTA
Won the 2019 national championship in the 200 meters (17-18 age group) at the USATF Hershey National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships ... posted a time of 21.28 in the finals to win by .14 ... also finished fourth in the 4x400m relay at the meet ... was the UIL 6A, District 3 champion in both the 100m and 200m in 2019.
