2008: Transfer from South Plains Junior College...Advanced to the semis of the 60-meter hurdles, finishing with a time of 8.96...Placed third in the pentathlon with 3318 points...Took ninth in the 100-meter hurdles at the Texas Invitational with a time of 14.60...Placed eighth in the 400-meter hurdles at the Texas Invitational with a time of 1:05.01 and took sixth in the long jump with a mark of 4.98m (16-04.25), placed seventh in the triple with a mark of 11.73m (38-06)...At SLC Outdoors ran a time of 14.56 in the 100-meter hurdles, just missing a qualifying spot for the finals and placed fourth in the heptathlon with a point total of 4,708.
