In her first season at Texas State, Calie made an immediate impact by leading Simon Thor to an NCAA West Regional appearance and guiding her entire pole vault group to scoring performances at the Sun Belt Outdoor Championships while setting new personal records across the board. She joined Texas State from the Lone Star Pole Vaulting Club, where she developed numerous athletes who advanced to compete at the collegiate level.
A former standout vaulter at the University of Texas, she brings firsthand experience and a strong foundation in athlete development. During her career with the Longhorns, her top outdoor season came in 2016–17 when she cleared a personal-best 4.16m (13-7.75) at the Texas Relays. Indoors, she placed third at the Big 12 Championships with a personal-best 4.18m (13-8.50), ranking No. 4 in program history.
