2020 INDOOR
Posted six top 10 finishes… had a fifth-place finish in the shot put and ninth place in the weight throw at the Sun Belt Conference Championships… had the fourth-best mark in the shot put and fifth-best in the weight throw at the UAB Vulcan Invitational.
 
2019 INDOOR
Had nine top 10 finishes… set a season-best mark in the shot put (17.64m) to finish second at the George Mason Father Diamond… had a season-best mark in weight throw (17.34m) at the Mark Colligan Memorial.
 
2019 OUTDOOR
 Seven top 10 finishes… placed second in the discus throw at the Sun Belt Conference Championships… won the discus throw and finished in second place in shot put at the Bobcat Classic.

2018 OUTDOOR
Had five top 10 finishes... Came in 32nd in the discus at NCAA West Preliminary meet... Won the bronze medal in the discus with toss of 53.31m (174-11) at the Sun Belt Conference Championships... Recorded season best distance of 15.78m (51-9.25) in the shot put to take 10th at the conference meet... Won the discus with season best distance of 53.82m (176-7) and was sixth in the shot put at the Bobcat Classic... Placed fifth in the discus at LSU Alumni Gold... Came in sixth int he discus at the Roadrunner Invitational.

2018 INDOOR
Posted six top 10 finishes... Came in eight and ninth in the weight throw and shot put, respectively, at Jaguar Invitational... Recorded season best 15.91m (52-2.5) in the shot put to place fifth at New Mexico Team Invitational... Finished eighth with season best distance of 16.65m (54-7.5) in the weight throw at the Ted Nelson Invitational... Placed fifth in the shot put and seventh in the weight throw at LSU Purple Tiger.

HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Killeen High School in Killeen, Texas... Coached by Greg Russel... Won regional championship in shot put and discus as a senior... Claimed Area and District titles in the shot put and discus in 2017... Served as team captain his senior year... 2016 regional qualifier in the shot put and discus... Won Area and District championships in the shot put and discus as a junior... Personal best distance in shot put was 18.67m (61-3) and 60.66m (199-10) in the discus.

Son of Maria Edwards and Bobby Smith... Has three siblings, Joshua, Mariah and Michelle... Majoring in psychology.
