Appeared in 47 games for Texas State this season making 38 starts while tallying a 1.95 ERA in 244.2 innings of work this season ... was named Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Year after a 12-3 record in Sun Belt play with a 1.49 ERA, allowing just 22 earned runs in 103.2 innings pitched ... Azua won a career-high 26 games this season which was the 6th most of any pitcher in the country ... she also had the 8th most complete games (21), strikeouts (236) and the 19th best strikeout to walk ratio (4.14) in the country ... Azua cemented herself as one of the best arms in the country, earning recognitions from Softball America and D1 Softball in their Pitcher Power Rankings througohut ... Azua was named NFCA All-Central Region Second Team for her season which included 218 hits, 93 runs, 68 earned runs and just 52 extar base hits ... Azua walked just 57 batters while striking out 236 for one of the best strikeout to walk ratios in the country ... Azua was the pitcher of record in Texas State's win over #3 Texas Tech, earning the shutout that night in the Bobcats highest-ranked win in program history ... Azua had seven outings this season with double digit strikeouts including 11 vs Tarleton State, Sam Houston and Troy, and 10 vs Colorado State, Southeastern Louisiana, Marshall and App State

2025:
Appeared in 39 games throughout her sophomore campaign ... was named Sun Belt Conference First-Team and a three-time Sun Belt Pitcher of the Week ... finished the season with a 20-8 record, the second most wins of any pitcher in the Sun Belt ... boasted a 2.76 ERA in 170.0 innings of work ... allowed just 77 runs, 67 earned runs, 135 hits while walking just 34 batters and striking out 187 ... had a sub-1.0 WHIP rate ... tossed 11 complete games including three shutouts ... also had two saves ... had two games with double-digit strikeouts including her career-best 13 against App State on 3/15 and 11 against George Washington on 3/1 ... had complete game shutouts against New Mexicio (2/15), South Alabama (4/6), and Southern Miss (4/13)

2024:
Appeared in 30 games as a true freshman ... finished the season with a 9-5 record and a 2.17 ERA ... pitched 96.2 innings while allowing 96 hits, 44 runs, 30 earned runs and walking 23 batters while striking out 81 ... she allowed just 18 extra-base hits ... in her complete-game college debut on 2/8 she struck out a season-best 12 batters, the second most by a Bobcat pitcher in a single game this season ... she held batters to a .251 average against her ... tossed three complete games including the debut vs UTSA, a run-rule five-inning game versus Northern Colorado where she gave up just one hit, and a win over ULM on 4/19 ... she also counted wins against Idaho State, Penn State, App State, South Alabama, Southern Miss and Marshall

Prepped at Round Rock High School ... was a three-time District 25-6A Most Valuable Player ... she also earned the program's most valuable player award the last three seasons … awarded the Lady Dragon Softball Golden Glove award in 2020 … became the first softball pitcher in Round Rock High School history to surpass 500 strikeouts … a member of the 18U Hotshots National Nelson … an IDT 18U National Champion … PGF National 16U Champion … a Top Gun Invitational 18U Champion ... lettered all four years ... also played for Hotshots National - Nelson
