Coralee Ramirez enters into her first season as a volunteer assistant coach at Texas State.
From 2011-2014, Ramirez was a four-year letterwinner for the Bobcats. In 2012, she was named to the Southland Conference All-Tournament Team after helping lead the Bobcats to the 2012 SLC Tournament Championship. That season, the Bobcats also won the SLC Championship.
In addition to her athletic accolades, Ramirez was a three-time All-Academic Team recipient, a two-time Oak Farms Academic Award winner and in 2014 she was nominated for the Outstanding Scholar-Athlete Award.
As a volunteer assistant coach for the Bobcats, Ramirez will assist with every day office duties and work with hitters and the outfielders during practice. With four years of on-field experience under coach Woodard, Ramirez has a strong understanding of the expectations and culture of the Texas State softball program and will be responsible for influencing the current student-athletes.
With a degree in business management and an emphasis in human resources, Ramirez aspires to pursue a Master’s in business administration in addition to following her dreams of becoming a college coach. Â
