Started in 22 of 34 games … carried a .216 batting average throughout her freshman campaign … recorded 11 hit and two doubles with a .294 slugging percentage … tied for second on the team with one triple against Texas Tech on Feb. 14 … was 2-for-2 in stolen bases during the season.

Attended Barbers Hill High School where she was a two-sport athlete, competing on the softball team all four years and the volleyball team her freshman year … earned Second-Team All-District honors in softball and helped her team win districts all four seasons … Hamilton played at Barbers Hill with teammates Randi and Sara Rupp … she is a member of the Houston Bombers travel team.
