Donaldson is a two-time Class 4A Texas State High School Individual Champion, winning as a freshman (2021) and as a junior (2023), and finished runner-up in his sophomore season (2022). Donaldson is a three-time national high school golf tournament qualifier and shares the 4A state scoring high school record. The Wimberley native was recognized as an honoree for the 2022-23 Boys Super Elite Team. As a freshman, Donaldson was nominated for Texas player of the year by the Austin American Statesman. Donaldson is coached by Dane Saucier at Wimberley High School.
