Former Bobcat standout Harrison Hineline joined the men's golf program as an assistant coach in October 2024.
Hineline competed for Texas State during the 2022-23 season as a graduate transfer.
Hineline competed in eight tournaments as a Bobcat, posting his best finish and 54-hole mark at five-under 211 for a top 15 finish at the White Sands Bahamas Invitational. He also had standout performances at the Streamsong Invitational and Tempest Collegiate, one of his two top 25 finishes.
A four-year letterwinner at Rice, Hineline play in 28 tournaments totaling 82 rounds. He closed out his career ranked 10th in career scoring average (74.90) and average vs. par (+3.20), while recording the fourth lowest round in school history on two occasions.
Hineline was a three-time Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar and a member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll while at Rice.
