Freshman (2019-20): Appeared in eight games…shot 50.0 percent from the floor and was 4-of-4 four at the free-throw line…averaged 1.0 point per game in 3.3 minutes per game.

Lake Travis High School – Was a three-year letterman coached by Clint Baty… in those three years, the Cavaliers recorded an 87-14 record…Bormann scored over 1,000 points in his career, was First Team all-district all three seasons and was an all-region selection in 2019… he averaged 14.1 points, 4.6 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game.
 
Personal – Majoring in business . . . the son of Charlie and Julie Bormann...has an older sister named Caroline and brother named Jake. . . Ryan chose Texas State over UT Tyler, Trevecca Nazarene, Southern Nazarene and Abilene Christian… enjoys wave surfing and is involved with the Young Men Service League Community Service organization…his favorite NBA players are Kyrie Irving and Damian Lillard, while his favorite NBA team is the San Antonio Spurs.
