2012-13: Koenen is the only three-year letterwinner returning for Texas State. He started 20 of 33 games last season, while averaging 8.1 points and 3.0 rebounds per game. Koenen registered 13 double figure scoring games, including a career-high 24 point performance at Seattle. Versus Charlotte, Koenen recorded a trio of blocked shots for a career high. Entering his senior season, Koenen has scored 503 points and has competed in 84 games.

2011-12: Appeared in 30 games and started 15 … averaged 7.2 points per games and 2.9 rebounds … shot 82.5 percent from the free throw line … scored in double figures eight times … registered a career-high 17 points against South Dakota (Feb. 18) … grabbed a career-high eight rebounds versus McNeese State (Jan. 14).

2010-11: Saw game action in 21 games during his freshman campaign … averaged 1.0 points and 0.4 rebounds per game … recorded 20 points and nine rebounds in limited action … registered five points against Texas … scored a season-high six points against Long Island after netting a pair of treys (11/16) … played a season-high 13 minutes against Texas Southern (12/16) … grabbed a pair of rebounds against Nicholls and Central Arkansas … scored in six games.

High School: Letterwinner at Prairie High School under coach Lance Marifke … was named to the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association’s All-Star team after being selected Honorable-Mention All-State by the Associated Press … was also named to the All-Racine County team and was the Player of the Year in the Midwest Classic Conference … averaged 19.6 points, 9.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.5 blocked shots per game as a senior for coach Lance Marifke … as a junior, Koenen averaged 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead Racine County in both categories.
