Texas State Athletics

Junior (2020-21): Appeared in three games…best game of the season was scoring two points, grabbing three rebounds, and added one steal at Texas (Dec. 9, 2020).

Collin College: A two-time JUCO all-conference selection...averaged 14.0 points and shot 47.2 percent from the floor and 33.1 percent from 3-point range as a sophomore where he started 27 out of 28 games played...also averaged 6.4 rebounds and totaled 47 assists, 27 steals and 24 blocks that season...was teammates with Addison Wallace and Nighael Ceaser who both transferred to Texas State as well for the 2020-2021 season.

Northwest High School: An All-State tournament Team honoree as well as all-district student-athlete.

Personal: Son of Teresa Burkes and Lorey Hix...has an older sister named Halie...both of his parents were collegiate athletes...his favorite sports team is the Dallas Mavericks and his favorite NBA players are Dirk Nowitzki and Kevin Durant.
