In his fifth season on the Texas State coaching staff is Clark Sheehy.
In addition to his on-court responsibilities, Sheehy is responsible for game-plan preparations as well as scouting reports. He is also highly involved in recruiting for the Bobcats.
Sheehy came to Texas State from Texas A&M-Commerce where he was an assistant coach for one season (1999-2000). While at A&M-Commerce, Sheehy was the director of scouting and recruiting. He was also responsible for developing the skills of the guards and wing players.
Prior to the move to Texas State, Sheehy coached at his alma mater, John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Ark. His coaching responsibilities at John Brown included serving as the Golden Eagles' head recruiter. He also designed and developed game and practice plans.
Sheehy received his bachelor's degree in health and physical education from John Brown in 1999. As a player, he was a four-year letter winner for John Brown. While at Texas A&M-Commerce, he earned his master's of education degree in physical education.
