2009: Saw action in three games at the left guard position on Texas State’s offensive line ... started two of those games against Angelo State and Southeastern Louisiana ... also played at Southern Utah ... was part of an offensive line that ranked 25th nationally and recorded the third fewest quarterback sacks allowed in the Southland Conference with an average of 1.36 sacks per game ... was part of an offense that averaged over 422 yards and nearly 32 points per game.

2008: Played in 12 games and made six starts at left offensive guard ... was part of an offensive line that ranked 19th nationally allowing just 1.15 sacks per game ... helped pave the way for one of the nation’s Top 25 rushing offenses with 184.1 yards per game and one of the Top 12 passing offenses with 453.23 yards per contest ... Bobcats were also one of the top seven scoring offenses in the nation with 36.4 points per game ... Texas State ranked eighth nationally in total offense with 453.23 yards per contest.

2007: Played in eight games as a reserve offensive lineman ... helped the offense that register 2,172 yards rushing and produced a 2,000-yard passer, a 1,000-yard rusher and a 1,000-yard receiver in the same season for the first time in school history.

High School: Three-year letter winner at St. Joseph High School where he was a member of three district championship teams ... did not allow a sack and had 39 knockdown blocks during 7-3 senior season ... was named first-team all-state as an offensive lineman ... also a second-team all-state pick as a defensive lineman ... named St. Joseph’s most valuable player ... high school coach was John Mares ... also a three-year field event letterman for St. Joseph’s ... has a personal best of 54 feet in the shot put and 150 feet in the discus.
