Ranked as a three-star recruit by Rivals.com … listed on JCGridiron.com preseason safeties watch list … played for head coach Nick Mitchell … ranked second on the team with 63 tackles … also recorded three tackle for losses, one quarterback sack, seven pass breakups and three fumble recoveries as a sophomore … had 43 tackles, two quarterback sacks, one tackle for loss, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery as a freshman.

High School 

Named All-Marine League second-Team safety after leading Carson High School to state semifinals … registered 52 tackles, four quarterback sacks, one interception and four pass breakups … also was a member of track team and had times of 11.00 in 100-meter dash and 22.3 in 200 meters.
