Played and started in the first 11 games at right guard on the offensive line.

Played in nine games on the offensive line…started at right guard against Rutgers, Texas Southern, and South Alabama…also played against UTSA, Louisiana, ULM, Georgia State, Appalachian State, and Arkansas State…earned a Texas State Academic Achievement Award.
