Connor Anderson joined Texas State in 2019 and currently serves as the Assistant AD/Chief of Staff, a role he was promoted to in February 2023.
In his first four years with the Bobcats (2019-22), Anderson served as the director of player personnel.
Anderson joined Texas State’s staff in 2019 after serving as an assistant recruiting coordinator and player personnel analyst with Michigan for two seasons. He was an assistant recruiting coordinator for the Wolverines for one year after serving as a player personnel analyst for one year. The Wolverines had the top recruiting class in the Big Ten and the nation’s eighth-best class in 2019 and was 20th nationally in 2018. Michigan also played in the 2018 Outback Bowl and 2018 Peach Bowl during his tenure.
He went to Michigan after working as a football recruiting intern and development graduate assistant while earning his master’s degree in intercollegiate athletic administration at Oklahoma in 2014-17. During that span, the Sooners played in the 2014 Russell Athletic Bowl, 2015 Orange Bowl and 2016 Sugar Bowl. Oklahoma also had the nation’s eighth-best recruiting class in 2017. The Sooners also won Big 12 Conference championships in 2015 and 2016.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in sports administration in 2014 at Oklahoma. Anderson is married to the former Micaelan Wright.
