Was a cornerback at Louisiana Tech ... member of 2011 team that finished 8-5 and played in the Poinsettia Bowl and 2012 team that finished with a 9-3 record. 

High School

Two-time All-District 10-5A First Team as a junior and senior ... earned Plano East’s hard-hitter award  twice ... served as team captain twice for the Panthers ... recorded 81 tackles, two forced fumbles and three quarterback sacks as a senior ... had 79 tackles, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and five sacks during his junior season ... played for coach Johnny Ringo ... was a regional finalist in 4x400-meter relay team four times for track team.
