Played in eight games as a wide receiver … caught five passes for 30 yards … also rushed seven times for 60 yards … had a season-bests of two catches for 13 yards against UL Lafayette and Georgia Southern … caught a season-long seven-yard catch against the Eagles … had a four-yard catch at New Mexico State …  rushed six times for 58 yards against the Aggies … had a career-long 18-yard carry at New Mexico State … also had a two-yard carry against Georgia Southern ...   joined the team in spring practice after signing with Texas State in February.

Rated as a two-star recruit by Rivals.com and Scout.com ... played for coach Danny Palmer at Tyler Junior College ... named Offensive MVP at the Capital of Kansas Bowl after throwing for 245 yards and three touchdowns to lead Tyler to a 47-21 victory over Garden City in a game played at Pittsburg State ... also rushed for 58 yards against Garden City ... earned All-Southwest JC Football Conference Second-Team honors after completing 101 of 187 passes for 1,632 yards and 19 touchdowns as a sophomore ... threw for a season-best of 262 yards and four touchdowns in a 49-26 win over Fort Scott CC ... also completed 18 of 31 passes for 246 yards and two TD’s against Navarro ... sat out the 2012 season after leading the Apaches to the 2011 Southwest JC Football Conference championship game ... completed 56 of 99 passes for 778 yards and four touchdowns as a freshman.

Was a two-sport star in football and basketball ... led University High’s football team to its first playoff appearance in six years as a senior ... played for coach Matt Carroll ... named a Second-Team All-Super CenTex quarterback ... tallied 383 yards as a junior and 219 yards and three touchdowns in a district game against Corsicana ... voted a First-Team All-CenTex guard by the Waco Tribune-Herald on the Super CenTex basketball team ... netted 45 points in a basketball game versus Corsicana.
