Played in nine games on the offensive line and kicking units ... helped Texas State's offense average 369.7 total yards, 27.7 points, and 131 yards rushing...member of the field goal unit that made nine field goals and 41 extra-point attempts.

Played in the final three games as a reserve offensive tackle ... sat out the rest of the season as a redshirt.
 
2018
Played in 10 games as an offensive tackle…made six starts at left tackle as a true freshman.

Played for coach Darrell Hall … member of the Daily Oklahoman’s All-City First-Team … chosen All-District 6A-II … Chosen to USA Today’s All-USA Oklahoma Second-Team … played on both the offensive and defensive lines at Midwest City … also a member of the wrestling team …  chose Texas State after being recruited by Sam Houston State, Missouri, Tulsa, and Wyoming.
