Played in 10 games on offensive line … made five starts at strong side guard … recorded 17 knockdown blocks … tallied five pancake blocks at Navy … had three knockdowns against Idaho and two at both San Jose State and Utah State … had one 10-yard block against Idaho.

Was rated as a two-star recruit by Rivals.com after playing last season at Blinn College under former Buccaneers head coach and current Texas State linebackers coach Brad Franchione ... earned Honorable Mention All-America honors and was named to the All- Southwest Junior College Football Conference First-Team in 2010 ... went to Blinn after playing his freshman season at Northeastern Oklahoma State ... was the Lone Star Conference Freshman of the Year ... also named a Second-Team All-LSC selection in 2009.

Earned All-District 19-5A First-Team honors as a senior at Kingwood High School while playing for Doug McDougald ... helped Kingwood reach the Bi-District playoffs in his senior season.
