Was a three-year high school letterwinner...played his junior and senior seasons at Midland Christian School...played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Legend High School...started his final three years at linebacker...started at tight end his senior season…recorded 236 total tackles, 18 tackles for loss, eight pass breakups, five sacks, six forced fumbles and one interception in his high school career...named a First-Team All-State and All-District linebacker after he tallied 137 stops, 11 tackles for loss and eight pass breakups as a senior... named Second-Team All-District  as a junior and Second-Team All-Conference as a sophomore...lettered two years in wrestling and track...broke his high school wrestling records for most pins and most points scored in a season.
