2008: Earned All-Southland Conference Honorable Mention honors ... played in 12 games ... started nine games at strong safety ... registered 42 tackles, including 20 solo stops ... ranked second among team leaders with three interceptions ... broke up six other passes ... intercepted his first pass of the season against Southern Utah ... also intercepted passes against Northwestern State and Southeastern Louisiana ... had a season-high eight tackles against Texas Southern ... also made seven stops at Montana in the NCAA FCS playoff game.

2007: Saw action in nine games ... registered 23 total tackles, including 16 unassisted blocks ... opened the season against Cal Poly with a pair of solo and assisted tackles ... followed with 11 combined tackles against Abilene Christian and Baylor ... closed out the season with eight-of-nine unassisted SLC stops, included three against both SFA and Nicholls.

High School: After playing defensive end as a junior, saw action at both cornerback and safety at John Tyler High School ... recorded 42 tackles, including 25 solo stops during senior season ... also broke up five passes and intercepted two others ... team posted an 8-3 record during his senior season... was named second-team all-district ... prep coach was Thomas Brooks ... also ran track at John Tyler ... member of relay teams which qualified for regional championships in the 4 x 200 and 4 x 100.
