Played in six games … recorded three tackles … recovered a fumble at Southern Miss … had a tackle against Southern Miss, Prairie View A&M and Wyoming … had a tackle for a loss of one yard at USM ... Earned Supercats Award for Big Cats during spring workouts.

Signed with Texas State in December 2011 ... sat out 2011 after earning All-District 19-4A selection for coach Jerry Stewart in 2010 ... member of the Houston Chronicle’s Greater Houston 100 ... two-year starter for the Broncos who reached the Region III D2 finals in his junior year and the regional semifinalist as a senior with a 13-1 record ... three-year starter on the Broncos’ basketball team, averaging 15 points and 12 rebounds ... competed in power lifting.
